The 350 Eastchester Database of Local Authors was developed to coincide with the year-long celebration of Eastchester’s 350th Anniversary beginning in 2014.

The Town of Eastchester, which includes the Villages of Bronxville and Tuckahoe, will honor the rich history of these important and diverse communities by documenting and celebrating the last three and a half centuries.  This database of local authors and their authorial works represents a digital, literary contribution complementing the wide-ranging civic and cultural events and happenings which will capture the rich cultural legacy and community spirit of the Town of Eastchester and its villages.

The leadership of Patricia Dohrenwend, former Eastchester Town Clerk, in collaboration with library directors Tracy Wright of Eastchester Public Library, Swadesh Pachnanda of Tuckahoe Public Library and Gabriella Radujko of the Bronxville Public Library were invaluable in developing this database, a resource which strives to be as relevant today as it will be 350 years from now.
